Fijabi Gallam

Fiji is the chair of the Program Committee for the Northeast Ohio Municipal Clerks Association (regional) and chair of the Professional Development Committee for the Ohio Municipal Clerks Association (state). She is instrumental in providing education opportunities for her fellow clerks who may be working on their certification or simply wish to stay current on job related topics, such as records retention/records management. She does this while maintaining her job responsibilities and family obligations. Having watched her navigate the NEOMCA committee and assisted her with some of their sessions, I witnessed the amount of time needed to provide successful training sessions. Volunteering for these committees can be a thankless endeavor, and I truly appreciate the work she puts into helping find quality programming. One needs to be very organized to achieve this feat, and Fiji definitely has Superwoman organizational skills!
