Evelyn Lees

I would like to nominate Evelyn Lees, clerk for the City of Noblesville, for the Wall of Honor. Her dedication to her role in the city is evident in the ways she maintains the records and documents for the city, but especially in her efforts to care for the city cemetery. In recent years, she has worked closely with the council and the mayor to ensure that the headstones in the cemetery are properly refurbished and replaced, and that those who are laid to rest there are documented. Her tireless efforts to preserve the cemetery and ensure its proper care are a testament to her commitment to her job and the city. She has shown great leadership skills in working with others to accomplish these goals, and her attention to detail is remarkable. As the city of Noblesville celebrates its 200th anniversary, Ms. Lees' work takes on even greater significance. She has played an integral role in ensuring that the cemetery is a fitting tribute to those who have gone before us, and her efforts will continue to benefit the city for generations to come.
